Standing Alone

It’s not easy being the lone ranger in town, but my days of desperately seeking validation and acceptance are over. I don’t need to follow the masses or go with the flow to fit in, when I was called to stand out. It doesn’t matter if the majority is going one way or the other, if I don’t agree with it, I’m not going along with it. This stance has caused me to lose relationships and trust, but I’m always reminded that “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.” I’d rather stand for what’s right than to knowingly agree to something that’s wrong.

Having your own sense of individuality can be intimidating to some, but it’s better to stand alone than to fit in with others.
