21 days

I’ve heard that it can take 21 days to break a habit, but did you know it can take 21 days for you to build your faith? Yes, you read that correctly. I’ve always had faith in God, but it wavered. These past two years really tested my faith and left me wondering if I had any. While I do trust and believe in God, I’ve had a hard time (at times) doing so. January 1, 2023, I started a Bible plan, 21 days of fasting and prayer. One of the biggest things I asked God to help me do, was to re-build my faith, and He has. Don’t be led into thinking you have to go through hell (literally) to acquire and activate faith. It’s not something you wait to receive, but it is something you have to work to keep. The good thing about faith, you don’t need a lot of it. God tells us all you need is faith the size of a mustard size.

If you don’t have faith or need to re-build it but don’t know how or what to do, pray and ask that God will help you. If you say, “Well I don’t know know how to pray,” but there is no right or wrong way. Don’t be so wowed and judge others prayers or how they word things and use that as a measure in how you (or everyone) should pray. Prayer is intimate and not one size fits all. So if you’re struggling to pray, just talk. God is always open to listening.

I don’t care who you are or what you have, we all go through troubling things in life, and when we do, we all need faith.
