Today is my 700th post! Yes, 700!!!! I can’t imagine or believe I’ve written hundreds of posts, let alone 100. I never thought that when I started Notes by La’Rue, I would make a huge shift in the content I posted, but I know it’s all God’s doing. I started out writing about my “daddy issues” and relationships, but obviously God had far (and better) plans. He knew that my pain, trials, and tribulations, would help others to heal, so I take pleasure in being wounded, especially if it helps someone else. I don’t take my walk with God lightly, as it can be rather difficult living a life that is Christ-like. Nonetheless, I give all honor and glory to Him, because all that I have, all that I am, and all that I’m becoming is a direct result of His doing and not my own.
Although my blog doesn’t garner a lot of traffic, have amassed thousands of followers, or likes, I’m happy in knowing I’m doing exactly what God has purposed me to do; motivate, encourage, and inspire others through His word.
