“They will fight you but they won’t win ( Jeremiah 1:19, NLT),” says God. “They” could be an addiction, an abusive spouse, friends, family, people on your job, critics, your trauma even. It doesn’t matter who or what you’re up against. If God be for you, who dare go against you? Your opponents (i.e., debt, sickness) may appear strong and big in stature but introduce them to your mighty, big, and powerful God. There’s nothing He can’t handle or wouldn’t do, especially for you. Take comfort in knowing God is fighting your battles; you need only be still (Exodus 14:14, NLT).
