If you can’t be told the lesson, you’ll be taught one
If you don’t learn from others mistakes, prepare to make plenty
If you don’t like to be told what’s right, you’ll continue to do what’s wrong
If you don’t like discipline, you won’t appreciate change
There are a lot of things God shows and tells us for our benefit and protection. However, it’s up to us to yield to the lessons. Many people aren’t receptive, because they’re too busy resisting. Nonetheless, God won’t steer you wrong, because He wants you to do what’s right. You may not want to hear it, but sometimes it pays to listen, especially if it’s about you.
