I’m not going to lie, as much as I value and love my privacy, I low key want to be on tv, but not just for anything. I want my own show, on my own network, and more than anything, I want to appear on Ted Talks. For a couple of years now, that’s been a huge dream and goal of mine, and when the timing is right, I know God will make it happen. What I also know to be right is that, it doesn’t matter whether or not someone else can see my dream, let alone believe it, I’ll never give up on it. On my way to work in the mornings, I typically listen to Steve Harvey, a sermon, or anything to get me inspired and help jumpstart my day. Not long ago, Steve Harvey stated that “He wrote on a piece of paper in grade school, that he wanted to be on tv. He continued by saying his teacher asked him, ‘Why would you write that when you can’t even talk’?” He concluded by saying, “Every year, I send that teacher a huge flat screen tv so she could watch me on it.” Now if that’s not petty, or clever, I don’t know what is.
Moral of the story, whenever someone speaks negatively over your dreams or don’t believe you can achieve them, smile and tell them “just watch me”.
Until next time my NOTE takers!
