He told us

I can’t tell you the last time I watched the news or listened to it, as it’s all too depressing. I now have to limit my social media intake, because if I don’t, I’ll take everything that’s happening in the world with me everywhere I go, making it almost impossible to function. It seems as if every week something “new” is coming out, in which we have to suddenly protect ourselves against. I’ll admit, when the pandemic initially came about two years ago, I was completely stunned. However, it didn’t really hit me until it hit close to home. My dad contracted it, and after many hospital stints, and an extended stay in a convalescent home, he eventually expired, while never fully recovering from the psychological and physical damage covid had done, according to doctors. Although I didn’t know when he’d transition, I knew he didn’t have long. How? God told me, just like He told us what we’re experiencing in the world today would happen.

When? In Luke 21:9-11. It’s weird seeing that the scripture is 9-11, which is the exact state this world is in, an emergency! The word says, “When you hear of wars and insurrections, don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately…. Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, and there will be families and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven” (NLT). Will things get better or worse? I’m not a Prophet, so I don’t know, but God does. But what I do know is, sometimes things get worse before they get better. Do I think it should be that way? Absolutely not, but God’s way is not ours, and neither are His thoughts. At the end of the day, even when we don’t know what’s going on, He does, and He will see us through.

Until next time my NOTE takers!
