The older I’ve gotten, I’m almost always questioned, “Are you married, and do you have children?” After all this time, I wish my response was different, but it’s still, “Not yet.” However, if I’m honest, I’m tired of not yet! In 7 months, I’ll be 38, and there are some things I’m beyond tired of waiting on. I know many of you are probably questioning my sanity, the need to rush, or wish you would’ve done as I have and waited, but truthfully, I’ve waited long enough. Yet, as God would have it, He thinks I hadn’t, hence the reason I’m still in the waiting room, anxiously awaiting to be called next. However, no matter how tired I am, God is “not yet” finished with me or you. Things may be taking longer than we anticipated, but don’t ever stop anticipating an answered prayer from God. You might not have the dream career, income, spouse, home, child, or car, but it’s all making its way to you, so don’t give up….at least not yet!
