I’ve always been a notoriously private person and was never really into being “known.” As large as my personality (and mouth) is, one would never think I would want to shy away from the limelight, which I try to stay as far away from as possible. Whether you know it or not, I’m probably one of the most introverted extroverts you’ll ever meet. When I started this blog almost 3 years ago, I didn’t realize how transparent I’d be, nor did I sign up for it. All I knew, is that I was being led by God and doing His will, which is to encourage and motivate His people.
I didn’t think my life, personal hardships, and painful experiences, would be the subject of many posts. However, the more I shared, the more I became extremely honest, raw, and open. Truthfully speaking, I never wanted to, but I had to, because there are a lot of people who depend on my testimony. If they could see what overcoming looked like, it would give them hope. Whether I’m speaking to high school students, my mentees or you all, I like to tell people that no matter what difficulties you face in life, or the unfortunate situations you encounter, it will hurt, and you may go into it crying, but you’ll come out shouting! The victory is already yours!
Until next time my NOTE takers!
