I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas, and I’m sure there are a lot of people in this world, who probably didn’t. Not so much that they were missing a loved one, but because they didn’t have anything to give them. Although it’s easy to get lost and caught up in the holiday season, and think it’s all about giving, we obviously know that it’s not. I won’t pretend that I haven’t participated in gift giving or exchanging, because I have. However, I’ve realized that aside from the nice gifts, I have all that I’ll ever need, which is my family, as cliché as that sounds. As I continue to obtain wisdom, and a deeper appreciation for my family, I know that there’s nothing more important in my life, than them. I come from a huge family, and am completely family oriented, so I enjoy when we’re able to get together and fellowship with one another, because our gatherings are filled with so much fun, joy, and love, which I absolutely love!

While I wish the same for so many other people, I realize because of their family dynamics, history, and other underlying issues, things aren’t, although I pray that they one day will be. Nonetheless, I feel that family truly is important, and no matter what you go through with them, at the end of the day, they’ll always be there with you, and for you!

Any grievances, grudges, unforgiveness, or resentment you are carrying, let it go! Your family deserves love, and most importantly, to be loved by you!
