Faith in the dark

You’re taking a shower and boom, there’s an outage. Trying not to fall, you carefully place one foot after the other outside the tub. With your hands stretched out front, you slowly feel your way down the hall, hoping the flashlight is still in the kitchen drawer. Scared and afraid, you move inch by inch, praying you get to the kitchen soon. Suddenly, things become real slippery and you struggle to keep your balance. At this point you don’t know which is more important, the light or not falling. After what seems like forever, you finally reach the kitchen. Alas! You have light and are able to see. Until the power restores, you rely on what you have, until you get what you need.

Are things looking a little dark for you? Are you struggling to keep your balance, as you continue to go down a slippery slope? Just as you trusted the flashlight would help you see when the power went out, have faith that Jesus is with you even in the dark. After all, He is the light of the world!

Until next time my NOTE takers!

This is the story of my life right now. Thank you my good friend and inspirer for this message. I had to come back and reread this today.
