Lions have a highly developed ability to see at night. They not only move in packs, but they also move in silence. A lot of times they take their prey by surprise, because the targets don’t see them coming. Suddenly, they find themselves locked within the jaws of the lion, struggling to get free. Like the lion, God sees you as you’re in that dark spot. As you struggle to break free from the grip of the strongholds over your life, God is already to the rescue. Just as He saved Daniel from the lion’s den, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace, He’s going to save you too. When He does, He’s going to catapult you to the forefront, so everyone can see you. While you’re probably wondering why you’re currently in the “still of the night,” God is using your hardships and struggles to prune and stretch you. What you are about to step into, is far greater than the thing you’re coming out of, and in order for you to succeed and be able to withstand the magnitude of your blessings, you’ve got to be able to make it through the dark, and you will, because He’s with you.
