Life can be a bit of a chase at times. No matter how fast you run, every time you look back, it’s always something behind. Struggling to stay 2 steps ahead, and not wanting to be caught, you speed up praying and hoping to get away, all the while, the difficulties of life remain close. I’ve been on the run for what seems like forever now, or at least the past 9 months. It’s been a bit of a struggle to remain the frontrunner, especially when my problems are in the distance, but no matter how close in proximity they are, I know God is closer. Just as He was with Moses and the Israelites in Exodus 14, when He parted the red sea, to keep the Egyptians at bay, Jesus will be like walls of water, protecting me from my problems and enemies, while allowing me to safely run through. Afterwards, the walls will come crashing down, and the only thing that’ll be left is my victory, because God will overcome the defeat.
It may look as though the enemy is gaining on you, but you’re still going to win! The enemy will continue to lurk behind, but God is all around you.
Until next time my NOTE takers!
