Timidity does not come from God, yet so many of us are debilitated by it. We can’t move forward, because we’re paralyzed with fear and the uncertainty of whether or not we’ll get what we’re after. Rather than step out on faith, we step back into the shadows of doubt, because we know what to expect while there. We strategize and proclaim that “this is the day”, yet we don’t do anything but allow it to pass us by. Let’s face it, we aren’t moving until we know what lies ahead. Luckily, God goes before us to make sure the coast is clear, before we proceed with His plan and will for our lives. He’s not going to allow us to walk into anything that wasn’t meant for us, or would bring forth harm. Don’t be afraid to fulfill your calling or dreams, because you’re afraid. Remember, God cleared and paved the way for us, so there’s no need to proceed with caution. He already took care of it, and He’ll take care of us too!
