Disconnect

Things are beginning to slow down, starting with you. Everyday, you’ve been operating at the max, but now, you’re forced to shut down. You’ve been passed around, and when everyone is done taking turns depleting you of your energy, they discard you, because you’re no longer of any use. You are in dire need of charging, and if you don’t connect with the “plug” (God) soon, you won’t survive! You’re operating at five percent or below, yet you still function as if everything is “100”. I get it. Your battery life is strong, but sometimes, even it needs “saving”. If you continue to give everyone all you’ve got, and be the “light” of their life, soon yours will become “dim”.

Sometimes, you’ve got to stop being everyone’s power source, and learn to disconnect from them!

Until next time my NOTE takers!

Writefully yours,

Deetra La’Rue
