Do you want to go the rest of your life, being Ms. Lois Lane?

because every time problems arise, you call for help once again

Rather than wiggle yourself out of trouble, you choose to remain bound and tied

but the minute I set you free, suddenly, your hands are stretched open wide

Not to show any gratitude, appreciation or thankfulness

but to save you from the ——- you’ve created, as a result of your carelessness

You are not helpless. You just refuse to help yourself!

There will be many people you encounter, that are looking for help and a handout. All their lives, they’ve had someone to give them everything they wanted, but not what they needed….which is responsibility! Quickly, your role has changed from “helper” to “enabler”, because you aren’t holding them accountable for themselves, because they know they can depend on you. It’s okay if you want to be kind and lend someone a “helping hand”, but make sure they’re using it to pull themselves up, and NOT bring you down!
