Morning NOTE takers! I’m still immersed in writing and finishing this New York Times Bestseller, but I’ve missed you! I don’t have a lot of time, but I wanted to make time to say, a lot of times, we have a tendency of seeing ourselves through someone else’s eyes. We can’t visualize or see anything good about us, so we expect others to see in us, what we can’t see for ourselves. Yet, what we fail to understand, is that people won’t always paint the perfect picture for us, because to them you might be “sketchy”.
Imagine someone has given you a “sketch” of what your life is supposed to look like, but when it’s nothing like the drawing, you experience hurt and disappointment. However, what you fail to realize is that, you are the “Picasso” of your life, and the portrait you paint, will always look better than the one they “sketch” for you! Remember, a sketch is a “rough or unfinished” drawing. Just think, if we stood on the opinions of others, our lives will always be “undone”. But, if we take the canvas and easel back, we’d be “complete”.
Keep “painting” until you finish your best Masterpiece…..YOU!
Until next time NOTE takers!
Writefully yours,
Deetra La’Rue
